Cost of inland spousal sponsorship question

It seems this should be pretty straight forward, though after reading the outline for the fees associated with spousal sponsorship, im still not sure how much i have to pay.

If anyone can clear this up for me, i'd be very appreciative!
Im just trying to sponsor my wife, we have no children, and the process is to be inland, would anyone be able to tell me how much i should be paying? Thanks in advance!

PS, this is what it says on CIC's website, sorry but i dont want to make a mistake..
Family Class applicants
-Sponsorship application (per application) $75
-Principal applicant $475
-Principal applicant, if under 19 years of age and not a spouse or common-law partner (including a dependent child of the sponsor, a child to be adopted and an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild) $75
-Spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner of the principal applicant or, where a transitional provision applies, a family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older $550
-A family member of the principal applicant who is under 19 years of age and is not a spouse or common-law partner, or is 19 years of age or older who has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 19, due to a physical or mental condition $150
-Where a transitional provision applies, a family member of the principal applicant who:
is under 22 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship, or
is 22 years of age or older and has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 22, due to a physical or mental condition

You will pay the first two fees listed ($75 +$475). There is also the RPRF of $490 that should be included with the application, if possible, although that fee can be deferred until CIC requests it (near the end of the process...which would be close to 2 years for you).

If you want to also apply for the Open Work Permit, you need to pay that amount ($155 +$100) and include it with the Inland application. The form that you need for that is IMM 5710. If you still have legal status when CIC receives your application, you should see the OWP in ~ 4 months. If you are out of status, or will be when CIC receives the application, you would not qualify for the `new' OWP and would need to wait ~ 17 months to qualify for the regular OWP.


So...with the OWP, the minimum that you need to pay now, is $805

I am applying to Sponsor my Spouse (inland) and also the OWP......so which of the two categories do I pay under: Spouse and Common-Law Partner in Canada class OR Family class. And do I pay Principal Applicant (spouse) $550 (includes sponsorship app fee) and Spouse (me) $550 plus Right of PR fee of $490...... For an Inland application, you choose the `Spouse and Common-Law Partner in Canada class'.

For sponsoring your spouse/partner (only), you pay:

$75 - Fee to sponsor
$475 - Application for PR (spouse/partner's application)
$490 - RPRF (which can be paid later, but it may add a slight delay to the processing time).
$255 - OWP (if applying Inland and if the applicant still has legal status in Canada).

It's very confusing, but the only time a person would also pay the $550 spouse fee, is if the principal applicant was also bringing his/her spouse or partner with them into Canada, meaning both of them were being sponsored. In most cases, the spouse/partner IS the Canadian (citizen or PR) sponsor.
