Correction for details entered on kiosk cbsa. Machine

I came from india yesterday to Winnipeg through montreal .
when i landed at airport after going through the kiosks cbsa machine.
i scanned my pr card and take photo
And after that it pop up for options says from where did u came whether it is direct flight or through usa . After selecting direct flight. The next question says - where do you live ???
in This is i selected india . After that there questions for money and other declarations. And finish. I got the receipt and pass the security check .
But some one told that we have to select canada instead of india in question where do u live ???
but I thought that is where u live in when u traveled.
please anyone can help me to clear out my query.

I doubt it's possible or wortwhile to attempt to correct. If you're ever asked, just say you misunderstood (which is the truth).

People give incorrect information to these machines all the time, for the same reasons as you.
