In my following documents below, the name spelling of mine father is not correct. Please suggest that will it be a problem PLUS which one I consider using.
1. My Degree Certificate (Bachelor Degree) - Spelling 1
2. My Passport - Spelling 1
3. My Country ID Proof - Aadhar Card - Spelling 2
4. Father's own Passport - Spelling 2 ~ which in real we used to use everywhere. He is no more at the moment (expired).
5. Father's Death Certificate - Spelling 2
6. Father's Own ID Proof - Aadhar Card - Spelling 2
Now the thing is that, I am too intended to use the Spelling 2 everywhere, say wherever I have to mention that ~ while applying for PCC, while filling up post ITA form and so on.
Can you please suggest what I can do in the situation?
Also, do I have to put up an LOE for the purpose.
Last to add that mine own name spelling is completely correct.
I have the exact same issue Someone in my home country changed the transliteration of my last name on my passport. I have IELTS and my marriage certificate with spelling 1. Since I want spelling 2 I requested correcting it on my current new passport as it is the same on my diplomas and WES.
What I'm going to do is write an LOE with a picture of my old passport explaining why the spelling is slightly different, confirming that it is the same person for both spellings and mentioning that I prefer using spelling 2.

What did you end up doing about this? I am in the same boat as you were in. First name has a spelling on my current passport that doesn't match the university degree and ECA report (which are as per old passport). Did you explain in an LOE?
