copy of invitation letter is working ?

Hi ,
My brother and his family will visit me , I have prepared and attested the invitation Letter for them , I am planning to send them a copy of invitation letter by email instead of Original one (just to save a time), is that working to send the copy instead of original ?
please help

My suggestion was to INCLUDE the corrected, scanned, emailed copy WITH the original in which you forgot to include your brother's children.
