CoPR says Vancouver as city of destination but land elsewhere

In our EE profile (FSW-O) we said we want to go to Vancouver. However, later our plans changed. We want to do our soft landing in Toronto.

In CoPR it says destination state BC, and destination city Vancouver. Can we still do our soft landing in Toronto?

OK. What would be the case in this scenario? I soft land in Toronto, provide my friend's address so he gets the PR cards and courier it over. Then we relocate to Canada later, but this time I have a job offer in Vancouver.

• Is the address provided to immigration upon landing the one associated with our residency?
• When I come back to a different state to stay now, how should I let the CIC know about it?

1. No. You can move anywhere within Canada at any time.The address is for the delivery of your PR card.
2. There's no need to.

You can land wherever you want. It's not binding.

Even if we do soft landing in Toronto, can we give mailing address of Vancouver? Or should we land in Vancouver only if mailing address is of that place?

If you're landing in Toronto, you could give any address you want in any province.
