I applied FSW express entry Aug 2019 and recently knew that a decision was made but no passport request yet.

My concern is that it could take some time given the current COVID 19 for PPR. And Normally COPR is valid only one year after the medical exam. I did my medical exam in May 2019.

Would they issue me an expired COPR ? Should I let the office know that my medical is going to expire soon?

They would either extend the medical or request a new one.

thank you for your reply Canuck. Given the covid 19, I'd rather not to go to the clinic and get a new one done due to the wide spread of the virus. Is there a way I can ask for medical extension explicitly?

No. It is their decision.
