CoPR landing next week (Apr 14), can I self-isolate in AirBnB?

I got my CoPR on March 6th and booked my flight for Apr 14.

I wonder what restrictions apply to the type of rental I need to book for my self-isolation period? Can I book in AirBnB or a hotel, or am I expected to stay with a family member?

You can stay at an AirBnB. You must go straight from the airport to the residence. You are not allowed to go anywhere else, especially stores. You will need to have everything delivered to you at the residence.

If you stay with a family member, they are also required to quarantine for the 14 days, so keep that in mind.

Up to you to figure out how. If you can't, you need to delay coming to Canada.

I can see from your logo that you are from Egypt I assume?
If so, did you use the VAC center in Egypt?
Because I have submitted my passports for stamping of visa and COPR on 15 March 2020. Uptill now there are no updates.
So, I was wondering how long did it take you from submission till you received COPR...

Please if someone intends to stay at an AirBnB for the sake of self-isolation can he provides a different address for PR card delivery let’s say for a friend where he will stay later. Wouldn’t that be an issue to have two adresses, one for self-isolation and another one for pr card delivery?

No I'm not from Egypt and I didn't use Egypt's VAC. I applied for the COPR well before the COVID outbreak.

I feel your situation nevertheless. Did you try to contact them through phone or via the WebForm?

I second canuck_in_uk, that's exactly what I did when I arrived (self-isolation address in AirBnB, while PR card delivery address of a relative).

Are you in your 14 days isolation period on airbnb? How did you managed to get the groceries for 14 days?
Also can you please let me know what does this mean, "Travellers who do not have an appropriate place in which to isolate or quarantine themselves must go to a place designated by the Chief Public Health Officer of Canada". are they providing a hotel to stay for asymptomatic travelers too? and how about the hotel charges?
Please someone clarify me on this. I'm planning to travel on the first week of May.
