I received CoPR in January 2020. I had an in-person landing appointment in CIC Edmonton in April that got cancelled due to COVID-19.
My CoPR counterfoil is expiring soon. I have contacted IRCC via webform multiple times since April. They don't seem to have any definitive answer as to when I shall be able to land, and whether CIC Edmonton is working on these cases at all.
I need to change jobs, but I can't since the new company can't sponsor work permits yet, and I need to be a PR to work for them. My work permit with my current employer will also be expiring in a few months. I'm in a limbo and don't know what to do. I've completely lost control of everything in my life due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Has anyone else experienced the same situation? What can I do?
