COPR can be used as landing paper ?

HI,
First of all i would like to thank all the senior guys, you guys are doing a fantastic job,
i have a quick question, hope its not a silly one.

Is COPR is same as landing papers, as i recall the landing papers issued by Canadian embassy in London were taken by immigration staff and they issue a COPR. So is it considered as same. And if some government department ask for landing paper , can i show COPR instead?

The COPR is your "landing paper" You can show it until you receive your PR card as proof of "landing"

...And it's wise to preserve it even after you have your PR card as a plausible backup proof of your permanent status .
