Hello everybody,

I would like to extend my stay in Canada with a visitor visa.
I am currently here under the working holiday programme.
However, my permit will expire at the end of March (29th) 2013.
I would like to apply for a visitor visa to travel around Canada and the US, so crossing the US border a couple of times.

The questions I have are as follows:

1) Can I just cross the US border on the 28th of March, come back on the same day and get a stamp that allows me to stay in Canada for six more months?

2) If I cross the border around the end of February, can I ask them to give me the stamp for visitor visa already at that time?

Thank you very much in advance for taking your time to have a look at this.
:)
