Contacting MP

Just wondering if anyone here contacted their MP regarding the ststus of their application?
And if so, was it helpful?
I'm at the point now where I'm thinking of contacting him.
Its been 15 months since we applied inland, 4 months since we send additional information and nothing................

Any comments or experiences would be apreciated

If I was you, I would also see previous post about contacting MP, just so you get a better idea of what to do exactly.

I thought about contacting my local MP, my only problem is that the position is vacant at the moment my luck hehe

You can find on internet name and details of your personal MP.

Do you have your case notes from CIC?
It would be great if you could give the MP as much detail as possible and
show what you have done. The more specifics they have, the more they can help.

I remember you requested your FOSS notes. Have you got it? If so, is there any indications why your application is taking so long? Especially considering you are married and have a kid in common.

Got my notes yesterday and nothing to indicate anything was wrong.
I even got a friend to double check and they couldn't see anything.....

And if you think about it tell the MP about this community and how we support each other and are frequently the only source of information about the progess CIC is making on our cases.
The time waits are bad enough, but it is the lack of communication that is the real drain on applicants.
