Hello, I am giving consideration to moving from the U.S. to Canada and am seeking help and assistance from anyone who can help direct me to employment boards for posting resumes, housing information, and what is the economy like there as far as obtaining employment, and just your overall opinion on residing within Canada. Also any other forums to post this posting as well to get a wider response as to what areas are better to move to and more. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

First things first. www.cic.gc.ca to see if you qualify as an Immigrant. From Buffalo as a skilled worker you are looking at about 19-43 months of processing, and getting longer. See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times-int/02a-skilled-fed.html

The economy is terrible, it is very hard to find a professional job, Canadian housing is some of the most overpriced in the world, and in just the 6 years since I began the process of moving here Canadian immigration has become more difficult to qualify for. I would be totally unable to immigrate today, and in fact, it was only because of a chance and transitory alignment of factors that I am here now.
That said, I love Canada and have never regretted the decision to emigrate here, rather than return to the United States. It's a wonderful country to live in, and I am very happy. If you qualify for immigration, I recommend it highly, just make sure that you are prepared to build your life here.

No one can tell you if you can move to Canada. You need to actually research whether you qualify for PR. Having a green card doesn't mean anything in terms of immigrating to Canada.
