Conjugal partner question

Question 1.)
Does anyone know what would happen if my girlfried applied to sponsor me as a conjugal partner but then we got married either before it was approved, or after it was approved? can we still follow under conjugal relationship?

In my opinion, if you can foresee getting married anytime soon, I would probably wait for that and apply as a spouse as opposed to applying as conjugal partners. Applying as conjugal partners means that in addition to proving you have a genuine and lasting relationship, you have to prove that you are literally unable to get married (most likely due to some impeding law or something like that).
