couples eloping from their home countries and marrying in a foreign country just to escape from the normal procedures and documentations, isn't that a red flag for CIC ?

Marrying in a third country itself is not a red flag but your family not knowing nor accepting your marriage with a girl from a different culture could become a bit of a red flag.

I disagree, if the situation is clearly defined. You don't get to choose your family but you do (or should) get to choose who you want to spend the rest of your life with. The fact that someone is prepared to go against their family and culture is actually a potential indication that this is a genuine relationship. As said before, context and circumstances are everything...

thank you so much for replying. There is no legal issues getting married in India. The problem again, is my family. The procedure in India is similar to that in Russia, ....after we give an application at the registry, there is a waiting period. My family is fairly well known and i cant even walk into the registry office without anyone recognising me.

How could living together in another country be an option? Is that so simple ?.For example, I move to the Middle East, how can i bring her to the Middle East unless I marry her. Plus it is illegal in so many countries. And it is not easy to move to countries where it is legal, also considering the fact that i hold an Indian passport. I cant move to any country and stay there for an year without a proper visa like a work visa.

Could you get married elsewhere in India? Far enough away that your family will not find out?

the issue again with Denmark is getting the schengen visa. neither of us have great jobs (actually i am a student currently) and we do not have much assets to claim ...

Technically speaking one of us should be the resident of the city where we register the marriage. But there are ways around it. but, that would be the last option.
