Ok, so I know there have been tons of confusion regarding this new stream that Ontario just decided to released few days ago. I know a lot people of people have >= 400 points. Say if 5,000 people who have >=400pts get the PT (invitation) and decide to apply through this. Does it mean all these 5,000 people get PNP after 3 months ? Cause I know the quota is 2700. If I decide to go with this, pay $1500 and wait for 3 months, say I dont get the nomination, does it mean I waste my time and money? What if during that 3 months, the federal EE lower the score to 400, I wont get ITA ? ??? ???

Since the province has publicly declared that they will issue 2700 nominations via EE, I don't think they will offer too many nominations beyond that number accounting for a few cancellations/rejections etc.
So it is a FCFS game but I think people who get this nomination over the next couple of months should be almost certain of landing those 600 points.
Is this Ontario program only for Canadian Experience Class candidates or can FSWP candidates outside of Canada be eligible my friend is in the pool with a score of 481 and intends to settle in Ontario but her application was submitted late May and I'm seeing here on the forum that onl people who submitted their applications in late June are getting the requests.
The program's website indicated that the quote is first come - first served based and whoever is eligible and doesn't get the cut, they will postponed to the next calender year. You'll find the information in the FAQ on the main page.
