Confusion about implied status

I am wondering if I become implied status as soon as I submit the application of a PGWP, or I am not implied status because my study permit is still valid? I mean When I am in the 90 days after finishing my program.

1. No, you aren't on implied status as your SP is still valid and you are apply for a work permit. Implied status is when you apply for the same status, and your status expires while waiting for a response.
