Confusion about ATIP(GCMS NOtes) Please Help!!!

Hi guys,
We ordered our first ever ATIP/GSMS notes online on 13th may, and my wife just called CIC and was told that we are only going to get information (regarding approval of sponsorhsip etc) from CIC Canada in our notes, and nothing from our visa office in London.

Can anyone help me understand what information we are going to get when we receive our notes on 13th june?

You should obtain all notes on your file covering both the approval of your sponsorship and anything they have done in London up to the date they pull the notes off of the system.

So the guy at CIC call center gave her wrong information?

If you ordered your notes and choose the " sponsorship file" option then you will only get the sponsors information. This happened to me the 3rd time I ordered my notes, I choose the wrong options. You needed to make sure you request the permanent resident file. This will send you everything.

When you fill ATIP form, there is a FILE TYPE:

Immigration File: Sponsorship << New option, it wasn't there earlier )
Immigration File: Permanent Residence

If you picked option 1 , then yes it will only show CIC-M part, not from LVO ( London )

Yes we choose permanent resident file, and entered file number and location of the file as London.

Thanks guys for the help, highly appreciate it. I was worried that after waiting for a month we are going to get something which is not very helpful as suggested by the agent at CIC call center, but thanks God, the agent was wrong.

Note if it is your file in London, and your spouse didn't include the consent release from you IMM 5744, she won't get anything from the London file.

we included the consent form (scanned copy) with our request.
