i applied for CEC in june 2014. After i realized that i did some mistakes in form so decided to withdraw my application. so i contacted CIC and they suggested me to email sydney, nova scotia about that withdrawal. So today (Aug 5) i email them request letter to withdraw my application with all my details. But on other hand i got my application back today (Aug 5) because i forgot to sign one form.
so
1) i am planning to resend my application at the end of this week but i am worried that are there any chances that they will think that this is the same application i wanted to withdraw and return my application???...
2) can i reuse police clearance certificate from my returned application or i have to submit new one?
does any one out there has any suggestion for me??... all ideas appreciated...please help
Why don't you email CIC again and explain your situation so they can tell you what to do next?
As for the police certificate I don't see why you cannot reuse it for your new application. I will leave others to comment on this as I don't know much about police certificate.
thanks for your reply. there are two reasons i dont want to email cic.
1) they take upto 30 days to reply and they dont even reply if they think dont have to.
2) i think it will create more confusion for them because they dont have my application there.
please correct me if i am wrong.
how about if i send another letter with my new application explaining my situation?..does that help??

Write another cover letter explaining the reapplication and your earlier communication. If your police certificate was issued less than three months your application was received at CIC, you can reuse it.

They don't keep a record of applications that are returned before AOR..
Just reapply :- make sure someone profreads the application ( two eyes are always better). I don't think email u sent for withdrawal is a bigg deal..
