I applied for EE FSW about 50 some days ago and got my work permit approved early May. Passport was stamped for the work visa and returned to me this week.
Today I opened my mail box and saw a no-reply email titled "Ready for Visa" from CIC. I was both thrilled and surprised as the email seemed to be the golden PPR email and it came fairly more quickly than I anticipated. However, the email reads: "The application processing for your overseas dependent(s) for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa."
Is there a mistake since I'm the only applicant on my application and I don't have any dependent? Why doesn't the email say "The application processing for you for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete?" Has any fellow applicant here seen the same issue?
