I am an indian citizen and a permanent resident of Saudi Arabia. My study visa to Canada was approved and I’m traveling to Canada next week. I will be surrendering my permanent resident permit to Saudi Arabia as I cannot afford to pay Levi and not stay in Saudi. I can apply later if required. My question is, I’ve mentioned to be a permanent resident of Saudi and since I will be surrendering it, will I be questioned about this at my port of entry? Will this cause me any problems?

probably yes, but I'd expect nothing more than few sentences of explanation
>Will this cause me any problems?
highly unlikely
