Hey guys,i started working in a paving company in july 2013 and then got laid off in nov 2013 (20 weeks).Again worked for 32 weeks from may 2014 to december 2014 (32weeks).While counting my experience, should i count 1 year as (20+32 weeks) or should i count from date when i got hired till now which means almost 2 years (not considering the layoff period) in creating my EXPRESS ENTRY PROFILE.

Only if your boss signs that you worked for a full year in the reference letter. If he declares a gap, then no. You may also have to prove your work with payslips. A gap will be a dead give away.
