The following is my work experience over the past 6 years (all are full-time, paid):
Mar 2013 - Dec 2013 - NOC 2282
Dec 2013 - Apr 2014 - NOC 2281
Apr 2014 - July 2015 - NOC 2171
Aug 2015 - Nov 2017 - NOC 2283 (around 20 days break as I was transferred to same company's India office)
Jan 2018 - current - NOC 5121
(almost 3 month voluntary break)
5121 is the NOC I want to work in my entire life
My questions are:
Do I put 2283 or 5121 as my primary NOC?
And importantly, how many years of experience does the system consider this to be (For how many years will I get points) - is it 2 years or 6 years?
I'm confused because of many answers on this forum which are the along the lines of the following:
" If you have atleast 1 year of continuous, full-time work in one NOC, you can claim the remaining work experience"
Thanks much ContactFront - I get the first part of your answer. I am planning to put 2283 as NOC.
The second part of your answer - yes, you're right, for CRS 3 years would yield max points. But do you think my work profile (as listed above) is capable of yielding max points - given that my work experience in one NOC is 2 years and 3 months?

Do you mean to say that after I submit my work experience (as listed above) through the online EE application (pre-ITA) - the system is capable of combining work experience through different NOCs?
Or is this to be taken care of during the PR application, post-ITA? (provided I even get it as my points without the 3 yr. work experience is not great)
