can some one shed some light on this for me please..... :-*
for medical examination they require you to bring 5 recent photos right. and for immigration they need 9 recent photos. so i gave in 5 photos for medical from the 9 i took. so what I'm i doing wrong here. do i need to send in 9 anyways to immigration.
when you are counting the total number of photos required, add the number your region specific guide specifies to the number requested for the medical exam.
if they want 5 for the medical exam and 9 sent with the application you need to have at least 14 photos total.
you may want to get extra, just in case some are lost en route.
I also had to take some (3, I think) with me when I picked up my visa. I did not know about these until I received the PPR. I do not remember them being listed in the instructions.

That's not listed in the instructions because all of these "type" of photos for immigration are to have been taken within the past six months. Due to the fact that processing can often take longer than that, they don't ask for the photos for the PR card at the beginning - they wait until they're ready to issue the visa.
