I have got the immigration by the Grace of GOD in Feb-14. :-[
Now i want to get PR card and come back (due to family issues) and then move after one year . I HAVE TO ENTER IN CANADA BEFORE 29th June-2014.
Document which i have recieved with landing papers ...shows that for PR membership u must be in Canada for 730/5 yeears & for Passport u must work for 3 Years in 4 years !
News that they are changing rules and now its 4 years out of 6 years to be in Canada for Nationality.
I want to ask is this possible to get enter before june 2014 and after applying for PR card come back and then move permnanatly in 2015.
Yes, you can land before the visa expires to perform PR formalities. Obtain your PR Card and then come back home looking forward to land permanently in 2015.
This is no problem at all but you must be mindful that you should have lived up to 730days within the first 5years of becoming a PR to maintain you PR status and also to make you eligible for Canadian citizenship.
Many people do that way successfully but some land into trouble if there is some problem with photo or something else but even after that there seems to be a way out for those who landed in trouble.
The best bet would be to carry your PR card along with you while returning though you may have to spend three months there otherwise stay for 2 weeks and use your friend's service.
The PR card takes like 6weeks to 2months to be ready and delivered to your stipulated address.
If you can't stay up to that, since you have friend that can receive it for you through his/her address, then tell your friend to courier it to you via DHL 'cos without it, you won't be granted any entry to Canada again through the airways!
Even if u do not apply for PR card and you leave Canada ,you can still enter Canada .You can apply for travel document when you are outside Canada.
Here is my personal experience.
I landed in Canada, stayed there for 3 days and then came back to my home country without applying for Canadian PR card.I applied for travel document in my country and I got it in 6 days and now I am going back to Canada.I will apply for PR Card when I re enter Canada.
