Confuse on EE.. please clarify

I'm a bit confused.. Can we only apply Express Entry under this category?

under the Federal Skilled Worker Program,
under the Federal Skilled Trades Program,
under the Canadian Experience Class, or
as a provincial nominee, in some cases.

is ITA EE a different category? or We have to wait to get ITA before we can apply under the above category?

EE is not the new category.

EE is one more step before you apply one of those programs (CEC/FSW/FST)
You would have to make a EE profile, get into the pool for selection. If you get selected, ITA will be issued to you and everything after goes the same for your program.

Doesn't matter what industry you are in (provided its a skilled NOC)

After you get into the pool, you will be competing against everyone in the pool in terms of CRS points. If your point is higher than the cutoff of a specific draw, you will get ITA and you continue with FSW.
