I applied in M.Eng. in electrical and computer engineering in concordia,dalhousie and university of ottawa for fall intake 2014.All other applicants please share your profiles and reviews regarding admissions process for these respective universities.

My profile is-

10th- 79%
12th- 69%
B.Tech -72 % with Honours
No backlogs and no gap.
Ielts- 7 band ( no part less than 6.5)

Please share your profiles who got admission in these for the coming intake and also please comment on my eligibility for getting admission into these institutions.

I applied on 7th January and sent my documents on 9th.

In concordia portal, all my documents updated on 18th but on my status it still shows about preliminary review will be conducted shortly from 7th of jan..Is it normal??..Have you any knowledge regarding this?

I have applied and got admission in Concordia (same field). I don't really understand your question you applied on 18th of which month? By the way if you have applied before deadline than you don't have to worry about anything.

My profile is quiet same as yours except i am BS in Electronic Engg (71%). I applied on 11-Oct-2013 got admission on 2-Dec-2013 one of my friend who applied with me got it in November .

That's normal. Department reviews for grad studies applications usually take 2 - 3 mos. I'm waiting for my application results as well.

I have applied at McGill for Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well. I've been talking to a potential supervisor since December and he requested for an interview via Skype this week. There's still no definitive word about admission though. I still have to wait for until end or March to mid April to find out if I could get admitted or not.
