Hello all,
I really appreciate the efforts and time put into this forum by the members, it really helps alot.
I wanted to know if you can tell me, how the FSWP is applicable to International students in Canada,
I am international student, but I am working at call centre right now in canada.
I have 2 years exp as developer in India and currently studying in Canada, I got an offer letter from
call centre for full time work in Summers.
does this fits along with applying for computer programmer category? otherwise it would be
really tuff for me to gain 67 points!
One way to qualify for Canadian immigration as a Federal Skilled Worker is to have at least one year of continuous full-time or equivalent paid work experience in the past 10 years in 24 qualifying occupations.
For the other documents that are required, I have police record check from year 2011, does it works?
and do you know what exactly they mean by "relatives in Canada"?

I am not staying in right now, I have a clearance certificate from year 2011 when I came here for
studies. So should I apply here at embassy India ? also tell me if I need police check for stay in
canada also.

you will need police clearance from any country which you have resided after the age 18, so i assume you will need one from canada also.
I'm not sure if the new FSW program requires the police clearance at the time of applying or if they will ask for it later...you need to check that, and if they need it with the application - then yes apply at the embassy and get the one from canada as well
