Completing forms for parents & grandparents?

Just started to fill the IMM 5406 form (Additional family information) and already have questions.
According to the explanation, "the PA, their spouse ... , and all dependent children ... must complete their own copy of the form".
Understandable.
PLEASE NOTE, I am asking this in the happy case of parents still alive, married and living at the same address (or Common Law partners)
SECTION A:
The first paragraph is about him (Name, DOB, Country of birth, Address).
The SECOND entry is about the SPOUSE (Name, DOB, Country of birth, Address).
So, question:
- Does the PA enter the information about his/her spouse here?
OR
- Does the PA leave this paragraph empty?

Then he moves to complete the form for his/her partner.
SECTION A
The first paragraph is about the PA (Name, DOB, Country of birth, Address) <- already completed the form.
The SECOND entry is about the SPOUSE (Name, DOB, Country of birth, Address).
So, question:
- Does the PA enter the information about his/her spouse here?
AND
- Does the PA leave the FIRST paragraph empty (because he already completed the form previously)?

And for me, there is still a very unclear notion of "DEPENDENT CHILDREN".
I am the child, it is me sponsoring them, is the PA supposed to add my name to this form as "dependent"?
