I am working for a company "abc". It was initially called "xyz" which was taken over by "123", after fraud charges on promoter of "xyz", in march 2009. It was named "ABC" in may 2009, but since the investigation and other law suits were pending, the company transaction were still retained with the name "xyz" for all financial transactions, payrolls being one of them. My work permit has employer name as "ABC", my pay stubs has employer name as "xyz". Now all law suites were cleared recently and now the company has been renamed to parent company "123”. So my ref letter (if i manage to get one) would have employer as "123". So what should I do in this case since my documents would have three different employer names despite working for only one employer. Does a letter explaining the above would suffice??
I had a similar situation
Although I haven't got MR yet so I don't know if this will work but my company name changed during my tenure of employment
My ref letter has new company name on the letter head but
I did mention in reference letter
Please note that my company name changed from abc to xyz in xxxx year
i am in a similar situation. merger happened right after i qualified, and also right when manager was issuing me a letter. Company A merged with B. T4 & payslips under Company A
Manager wrote letter under Company A letterhead, indicating that merger had just happened, and that company name would be changing eventually to company B-- however all experience gained under guise of company A. Attached Press Releases confirming the merger and that transition was still in process.
Got AOR but obviously havent undergone eligibility so dont know if it will work, i hope so. i applied in March-April.
