Still a long way for me to go but I think I am slowly getting there.
I have received communication from Sydney, NS in the form of an email. They have advised me to submit the full application to CHC Islamabad in 120 days. My NOC codes are 0213 and 4131. An interesting thing here is that my title doesn't say "Manager" but I claimed 0213 only because I had performed substantial number of 0213 duties in IT sector at senior levels and team lead levels. I really can't say if the initial assessment was successful due to 0213? Because I had also claimed NOC 4131 (company trainer) and maybe 4131 clicked? Whichever the reason is, I now have to submit the full application with supporting documents before the deadline which is October 22, 2009. My timeline is as follows.
Initial application sent to Sydney, NS = May 19, 2009
Application received at Sydney, NS = May 21, 2009
Correspondence from Sydney, NS received = June 24, 2009
My points are 60 without IELTS. I am sitting the IELTS exam on July 11 at British Counsil South Africa... so let's see what future holds for me.
i've been closely watching all your posts . how far you are with accepting the offer from your employer to go to canada? is this not possible for you to convert your FSW application to AEO category? just in case your employer is helpful and willing.

nah! i'm fired if my employer gets a slightest hint that i've applied for a PR to Canada... i would like to take my employer's offer... it's easier to be sitting in canada to find a job rather than be sitting outside Canada... For AEO, my employer will need to get it approved by HRSDC.. that's too much to ask
