I was wondering if anyone could share their timeline from beginning to end regarding common law sponsorship in the province of QC. We intend on doing an inland processing. Essentially I am wondering about how many months from beginning to end the process will take.
Additionally is anyone aware if I can apply for an open work permit while the PR paperwork is being filed even if I am currently here as a student (i.e. I would continue my studies, but would like to be able to search for employment outside of campus jobs). I currently hold a student permit but would like to know if I can hold both types of visas at the same time.
