Common law question

Hi there, my girlfriend lives in Canada and me I'm in the UK. I have already lived in Canada for two years so I'm looking at routes for us to be together, with me moving to Canada. The only avenue I think of would be common law. My question though, if she came over to the UK for a working holiday visa and we lived together for at least a year in the UK, when applying for common law, would the time together in the UK count towards getting common law in Canada?
