Hello,
My common law partner's Canadian passport is expiring soon. Should I use the current info while filling out his "Personal Details" or should I wait until he renews it? I have an ITA for myself and my common law is Canadian.
Thanks

He doesn't need a valid passport for your application, as he is not immigrating.

The app is not really designed to account for Canadian spouses. It assumes that your spouse must be included and therefore requires a passport.

So it doesn't matter if I put an expired date for the passport?

I would suggest to wait for the renewal and put in the new expiry date.

Alrighty! Thank you so much!

No, it doesn't. As a Canadian citizen, he doesn't even need to have a passport for you to apply. You could just show his Canadian birth certificate instead.
