Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying your weekend.

I'd like to ask if anyone knows if there was an update for PCC requirement.

Now I see that PCC for family class sponsorship is required as below(is from canada.ca)
  • Current country of residence if you (or they) have lived there for six months or more.
  • and

  • The country where you (or they) resided for most of your (or their) life since the age of 18.

I see lots of posts in this forum where people saying PCC should be obtained from all the countries where you have resided for more than 6 months for last 10 years.

So I think this is quite different from what government page is saying.. since it doesn't mention anything about 10 years or since 18 year old.

Does anyone have a clear answer whether this '10 years' condition is not applied anymore?

Thanks in advance....

The rules for Family Class Spousal Sponsorship are different from Express Entry.

Follow the rules that are applicable to your application. You have cited the correct rules for your class of application.
