Common Law - Form 5409e - STATUTORY DECLARATION OF COMMON-LAW UNION - Filling in DATES

Good day all,

Please help me to fill the STATUTORY DECLARATION OF COMMON-LAW UNION. Here is my case:

1. Lived together from October, 2018 - January 2020
2. Spouse was away for studies from End of January 2020 to Abril 20th 2020
3. Together again from Abril 21st 2020 - current

"solemnly declare that we have cohabited in a conjugal relationship for___(number of years)____ continuous year(s) from" = on the number of years should I put 1?

"Date (YYYY-MM-DD) TO Date (YYYY-MM-DD)" = on the dates, what should I put? From october 2018 to january 2020 (which is more than a year but less than 2) OR from January 2019 to January 2020?
