Im confused about visitor status. I'm sponsoring my partner (US citizen) and we've been living together for 2+ years. We moved from the US to Canada in November. Since he works remotely, he's been back and forth a few times from the US to Canada. He doesn't have any official status because as an American you don't need a visa to enter. He hasn't been here consecutively for 6 months yet but Canada has been his home base.
We applied for the Visa early June and it's now in process. Do we need to apply for a visitor status for him? And can he continue to travel back to the US?
