Hi Everyone it would be appreciated if anyone can comment on this:

Me and my girlfriend signed our apartment lease beginning in May 2016 and in mid-Apr 2017 I moved to another province for work. So it's been technically 11.5 months for which we've been living together. She will continue live at that address and we'll decide where to settle later. But does our situation qualify for common-law relationship?

No, you need 12 months/365 days continuous, and not even 1 day less.

You will have to restart the 12 month living together once you and girlfriend are back living together to gain common law status.
