So I just finished a 1 yr program and intend taking another 1 year program to get a longer post graduate work permit, I was advised against it by a Red River College international student advisor because according to her lots of students have been getting only 1 year PGWP after 2 separate programs recently .. I then decided to check the CIC website to be sure and couldn't find where it says we can combine 2 programs... I know I saw it sometime ago, but can anyone help me with the link or did CIC change the rule? Thanks guys..

hey
my friends got 3years wp he had takin international business for 2 years course in lambton college and got
2 years study permit but after reaching Canada he change the course to HRM which is 1 year after completing course he applied for pgwp so he got 3 years pgwp on basis of study permit which is of 2 years he told me. so how cum this think happen and on what basis.
You see that.. PGWP is also case by case...
Some people got 3 years pgwp although she or he studied only one year course (certificate) after changing program
Another case, some people come here for Canada with diploma course, but they only got 2 years pgwp.
So, my point is 3 years pgwp is not guarante........... for diploma and one year + one year case....
