I want to get admission in post graduation diploma in British Columbia, I've been refused once under SPP, Centennial college toronto, Now I want to select British Columbia for some reasons. Recommend me some colleges
My profile is
BCA : 75%
IELTS : 6.5 overall not less than 6 in any module
There are tons of colleges in BC. BC is second to ontario in terms of international students. As far as list of colleges is concerned u may try this wikipedia link :
I think it depends on which field you want to study. From my experience so far, the popular colleges in BC are BCIT, Langara, and Douglas College. At this point, best thing to do is to first settle on a field of study and narrow down your options by looking into which school/s offer/s the program you want.
I have got admissions for the course post graduate diloma in international business at the Northern Lights College, Fort St. John, British Columbia. You should check this college asbthy have very less college tuition fees.
If you are planning to work in BC after studying, I think BCIT is a good option. It's reputable among different companies because it's known for preparing their students with the skills they need in their particular trade/industry. However, the programs for international students are limited. To see which ones they offer, please go to this site: http://www.bcit.ca/international/programs/fulltime/index.shtml
If you do not plan to work in BC but you do want to work in other provinces in Canada, then I think you should try looking for a school that's where you intend to work. Most colleges are not recognized outside their provinces, so I think it would be better to get a degree in a university or to get a diploma in the same province you plan to work in.
If you plan to work in your home country after your studies in Canada, then I think any college would be fine.
