Co-op Work Permit

I applied for a co-op work permit on 15th Jan 2020. I haven't received any update apart from the initial submission confirmation. I cannot do flagpole as border is closed for non-essential travel. Does anyone get approval for a co-op work permit who applied in Jan 2020?

You need to call & send a webform every week. That's the only way they will get it to you on time.

I called them and send them a web form as well. But they are giving the same reply. It is in the processing stage. Is there another way to fast track the application? I have even got the offer letter for my co-op work term.
