Hi,

So I applied for a co-op study permit and was approved on April 9th. I still have not received it and know for a fact that Canada Post does not take this long to send it. Whenever I call Canadian immigration I get a impatient officer trying to explain to wait up to 6 weeks after dispatching before I call them (if i don't receive it)

Where is this arbitrary number 6 weeks coming from ? IN 6 weeks I can send a package 6 times around the globe. Do they have different departments where "Approving" Department is different from "dispatching" department who might send it later ?

Its ringing alarm bells and is making no sense. My internship is to start soon.. and dont want to loose it :(
