CLOSED WORK PERMIT

Hi,
I really need some help with my immigration situation. I came to Canada on a closed work permit from an employer. Unfortunately, when I arrived Halifax, my so called employer changed moved her plans and moved me to Manitoba where she stated that her new office is.
From January till date, no work, no salary, l can't even get in touch with this so called employer.

Due to the frustrating nature of my situation, l reported to the MP in Brandon, IRCC, Human Trafficking Department, even to the Minister of immigration but no reasonable response yet.

We manage to feed and pay bills because my wife is on open work permit. Now, she got a study permit to start her school by September. Looking at my situation and her new status"study permit," l want to know if I can apply for open work permit.

Yes you can apply for a SOWP but it is not guaranteed. How did you find this employer? Did a consultant arrange the employment?

She came to the Bahamas to recruit foreign skilled workers in the pretense that she is an immigration representative/employer. We got the permit based on ALL the documents she provided in respect of her company.
