Hello All ,

I needed some clarification related to points to be claimed under LMIA as I am finding it very confusing .

I'm on a closed work permit in Canada . My work permit mentions some number in front of "LMIA or Exempt No" Field .
Does that mean I have LMIA ? Is there any letter that is related to LMIA given along with WP ?

How to confirm if I have an LMIA, so that I can claim the crucial 50 points .

Thanks in Advance .

You have a LMIA exempt permit if you were transferred here. If so, you need one year of Canadian experience on your closed work permit to count the points. You need a new job letter from the employer.
