Thanks for the answer. I was just really confused since people are saying that the one I'm supposed to put on question 3 is the UCI that will be given upon sponsor approval.
But clarification though, it still remains the same even though at that time I wasn't married yet?

Not sure what comments about "given upon sponsor approval” you are referring to, but once you have a client ID it is yours for ever and ever. You also will not get another one. For people who were born in Canada and who haven't sponsored anyone before, they do not have a UCI since they haven't interacted with CIC before therefore they will get one assigned during step 1, which may be what the comments you are referring to are alluding to.
With regards to the "upon sponsor approval"- I read in a post that the Client ID will only be given to the applicant once the sponsor gets approved to sponsor the applicant (don't know if I said it right. hehe)
It means that once the sponsor is made eligible by CIC to be a sponsor and the application of person being sponsored had began processing thats the time CIC will give a Client ID # if it's the first time the Prinicipal Applicant (person being sponsored) to have a Client ID#.. CIC will not give a Client ID# to the person being sponsored if the application is not IN Process yet or if CIC have not open the application yet...
