Clarification on submitting student visa application

I am trying to submit student visa application form online. I have downloaded the forms and filled all the details on my laptop. I was not sure if I had to download and print and sign it or is there an option of e-signature.

If you apply online, you don't have to sign to the paper. At the end of your upload process, you will be demanded to answer to the security question. That's one sorte of e-signature.
