Hi All,

I will be completing my two-year postgraduate program in April 2025 and plan to apply for my PGWP along with my husband's SOWP extension. He is currently working full-time in a TEER 1 job.

I understand that immigration requires the principal applicant (myself) to have a full-time job in specific TEER categories for the SOWP extension to be approved. However, since I won’t be able to work full-time until I receive my PGWP, would it be acceptable to submit both applications together while I am working part-time and provide pay stubs as proof of employment?

Additionally, I’ve heard that if we apply separately, the SOWP might be processed first, and even if the case appears strong, it could be rejected because my PGWP is still in progress. Given that my husband's current SOWP is valid only until July 30, what would be the best approach to maximize approval chances?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

As long as your work as PGWP applicant is TEER 0 or 1 or in the selected few NOCs apply with paystubs and job letter.
