Hi
I have 2 years of work experience in a bank in toronto, canada. I am on a work permit expiring October 2015.
Do I need to get my education credentials assessed? Does it give me extra points under express entry?
Also if I create my express entry profile now without ECA, can I update it later when i get my eca with increased score?
I am 33 years old and a Chartered accountant from India. What do u think my score will be under the express entry?
To understand what your approximate score will be use the CRS calculator on CIC website or even on Canadavisa website. If you have a LMIA and have Canadian work experience you should qualify for CEC. But check your NOC and that will set your eligibility.

LMIA is Labour Market Impact Assessment.
Your present employer or future employer should first try to recruit a citizen of canada or a permanent resident by advertising the position for 4 weeks on a national or province job website meeting the conditions on wages, benefits etc.,. All the efforts made by employer should be put on a form and submitted to Service Canada. If SC believes employer had made all the efforts and could not get the PR or Citizen, a positive LMIA is issued. With this foreign candidates generally apply work permit or PR or both. The complete processing might take from 1month to 5months.

Also for your question of ECA, if you have LMIA/LMO, you don't need a ECA. Also, calculate how much you are getting without LMIA. I guess(just my guess) if your score is above 400, you might be considered for an invitation. Just wait for the next draw.
And yes, you can update the ECA details later on your EE profile.
