Yes I claimed those points but my employment extension was say was in Jan 2020 till October 2021 so when I received AoR I almost had 18 months of employment ,
This is helpful. Yes there are concerns in issuing letter with specific wordings. Fallback checking to provide just assignment letter so I can as well provide a LoE.
If assessment officer is reasonable and see what is company and what are you working letter of explanation can be added to explain how long you have been with the company. Every thing cannot be pure maths like 1 year after PR is granted so some logic needs to built in like you are in Canada on work permit for 2 years and you got one year extension so intent is there, Can CIC guarantee the date when PR will be done. As of now it shows 6 months processing time so in all respect you got employment with you for say 19 months where you got AoR there should be no concerns
At same time may be if you get PR your employer give you permanent employment. So these events are sort of interrelated. It’s how you present and how some one understands how your position is within the company.
There is a hit and miss in the offer of employment points. Previously, like before 2017, PR is approved just based on the validity of the work permit as Basie for granting the additional points for offer letter. But some officers are now looking for that “valid after one year of getting PR” so be really careful with the offer letter.
I started working in Canada on 16th May 2019. On 15th May 2020 morning can I answer YES to the EE profile question "has been working for the employer on their current work permit for atleast one year"? The reason I ask is if the draw happens later that day I can possibly qualify. 2020 was also a leap year, so 365 days complete on 14th itself.
Do anyone know of legal definition for 1 year whether it counts as 52 weeks of full time work (min 30 hrs) completion, or 365 calendar days or 1560 hours of work (counting not more than 30 days per week) or date on date from pervious year? If you know from your experience or point to some legal document, will be grateful.
@ramschennai , agree with you. In my case i started may 29 last year; so, do you think i can submit my profile on 29th? Technically, i would complete my experience on 28th EOD.

If you are referring to EE, I submitted my profile way earlier and then updated again on the 16th for the relevant questions on Job offer and work experience. I did consult with few professionals and all the advise I got was to wait it out. I can understand this can mean a risk of lost opportunity.
For OINP eFiling, since I anyway crossed it yesterday, I'll be filing later this week. If you too have NOI from OINP, then submitting post 29th May think you should be good as they give you 45 days time.
Calendar years are not important because as @dan_and mentioned you can reach the required 1560 hours within 52 weeks (52*7=364days [362 days if you don't count the weekend])
