ALL:
I have read several threads on the forum about this topic, but looks like there are several opinions, and I want to make sure of the following regarding Express Entry:
1- If I have TA/RA work experience OUTSIDE Canada while also enrolled as a student, I can still claim my working hours, right?
2- To proof this work experience, can I provide the offer letter of the TA/RA job that I get every semester, or I should get a letter from my supervisor?
3- Does the work experience has be to continuous or it can be intermittent? (TA work is only in the spring and fall but not in the summer)
4- Do I get extra points if I have experience more than 3 years full time hours, meaning hours more than 3*1560?
5- Is the NOC code for TA and RA : 4012, or do we have to use 4011 for TA?
Thank you.
By digging more in the forum, I managed to know:
1- Yes, it is possible
3- It can be intermittent:

Can any one share his/her experience for the questions: 2,4 and/or 5?
Thanks.
You're looking at the wrong source, your experience is from outside Canada so in order to be eligible under the FSW program you must have a year of continuous work experience. The link you posted refers to the CEC program.
However, according to jes_ON others have successfully claimed their TA/RA work experience as continuous due to the nature of the job.
Thank you for the notice and the info.

Hello, I am having some issues on claiming points. I worked as a research assistant for 3 years during my Undergrad degree. I was paid for that period. I have an appointment letter and reference letter from the professor. Although I did research related activities my professor didn't include my name in any of the publications.
So now I was wondering if I can claim points under NOC 4012 or not as I don't have my name written in any publications?
