Refugee claim time can be counted or not toward citizenship?
when I first entered from border to Canada I was given two years permit of residency and court date in two month. After two month when I went to court the judge accepted my claim and I became conventional refugee or protected person then I apply for PR got that PR . I know that the time after my court date till I became permanent resident is counting as half but my question is the two month before going to court and becoming the conventional refugee is counting each day as half or no ?
Note: If you made a refugee claim, or were included on a family member’s refugee claim, you will not be credited time in Canada from the date of the refugee claim until you have received a positive decision confirming that you are a protected person as described above. Good Luck!
